Introduction to Formal Installations
This five day course takes place entirely in the classroom and on the fifth day students will take the MESA Installation Knowledge exam.
5 Days

During the first week of class the student will be introduced to the Instructors, staff and our 10,000 square foot facility. This class focuses on having our students achieve the first MESA certification in only one week. The Introduction to formal installations class provides a solid foundation of the principles, techniques, and safety needed for advancement into our other courses.

This five day course takes place entirely in the classroom and on the fifth day students will take the MESA Installation Knowledge exam.  The Installation Knowledge Exam focuses on basic electrical knowledge and accepted 12 volt installation practices. This exam provides a foundation for the MESA specialty certifications presented in the following weeks, and is the first step to becoming a MESA Certified installer.

The Installation knowledge exam is 200 questions, each student is allotted 3 hours to complete the multiple choice test. Students must pass this exam with a 70% or better in all five sections. Should a student miss one or more sections they will have an opportunity to retake those sections in the third week of class. Students must pass the Installation Knowledge exam as it is a prerequisite to the other certifying exams in week 5.
