Installer Institute's curriculum consists of both beginning and advanced hands-on courses. Every aspect of the installation process is covered, including basic installation techniques and equipment, enclosure design, new product application for product research and development and so much more. Classroom topics are reinforced with practical hands-on training in our fully stocked installation bay. Students work on projects that apply to real-life installation problems. We also encourage students with cars on campus to work on the vehicles as demonstration class projects.
The curriculum consists of 10 courses:

Week 2. Enclosure Design & Construction- 5 days
Week 3. Beyond Basic Installations - 5 days
Week 4. Advanced Mobile Security and Navigation - 5 days
Week 5. Complex Installations - 5 days
Week 6. Leather Interior Installations - 5 days
Week 7. Advanced Fabrication- 5 days
Week 8. Interior Panel Design and Construction - 5 days
Week 9. Painting and Metal work - 5 days
Week 10.Introduction to Home Audio - 5 days
Only a minimal knowledge of mobile electronics installation is assumed. As we strive to keep our curriculum up-to-date with the latest trends and technology in mobile electronics, the curriculum evolves and changes.The basic outline of the classes remains the same but the curriculum posted on the website may not exactly match the current curriculum presented at the school.
